Terms

Last updated

You pay once and get a license to use Alkit on one Mac, with every future update included. Keep your key to yourself, and if Alkit isn't for you, you have 14 days to get your money back.

Who you are dealing with

Alkit is made by Omar Alexandro Espinosa Fernandez, an independent developer in Mexico (“I” and “me” below). These terms cover buying Alkit and using it. By buying or using Alkit, you agree to them.

Your license

When you buy Alkit, you buy a license to use it. The software itself is licensed, not sold: you don't own a copy of it, and I keep all rights in it.

Buying

Alkit is sold through Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. Dodo Payments takes your payment, charges and pays any sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt and invoice. Its own terms for buyers also apply to your purchase.

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of buying, no questions asked. The refund policy explains how.

What you agree not to do

I may deactivate a license that has been shared, resold or bought with a fraudulent payment.

No warranty

Alkit is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. I work to keep it reliable, but I can't promise it will be free of bugs or work with every Mac and every setup.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data, lost work or lost profits, and my total liability for any claim about Alkit is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the new terms apply from that date. A change never takes back a license you have already bought or the updates it includes.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico.
